Season of in-person Meetings
With our Annual Meeting, Mass Retirees launched its 2024-2025 season of in-person meetings. At the September gathering a capacity- filled audience not only received the latest pension, healthcare and Social Security/Medicare news from Association officials but also heard from special guest speaker, Rep. Mark Cusack (D-Braintree) who chairs the Revenue Committee. A highlight was the bi-annual election of the Association’s Executive Board, including two new members, Jim Vieira and James Fleming.
“In October, we’ve held two area meetings – one in West Springfield and the other in Plymouth,” reports Meeting Coordinator Leo Delaney. “As you see in the photos on page 3, members turned out in large numbers, and we also welcomed several elected and retirement board officials who stopped in to say hello.”
