Mass Retirees is not a union. Founded in 1968 to ensure that retired Massachusetts public employees are never forgotten, we are a nonprofit Association.
As an associate member, you have immediate access the most up-to-date news and information about your eventual retirement. This includes any developments involving your pension, health insurance, Social Security, and Medicare. The news you receive regarding health insurance also overlaps with your current benefits as an active public employee. We believe this healthcare news and information is particularly important to both retirees and active public employees.

Remember, Associate Memberships are only open to vested public employees who have not yet retired. Once you are a retiree, you will be eligible to become a full Mass Retirees member.
