Mass Retirees is proud to endorse the following State Senators and State Representatives in the Massachusetts Democratic Primary Election taking place on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. Each of the seventeen Veteran Legislators listed below has a documented record of support for public retirees and works closely with our Association on behalf of our members.
Over the past two years alone the legislature has increased the state’s Basic Life Insurance benefit and approved a landmark COLA Reform law that will undoubtedly improve the lives of public retirees. Support for public retirees is the only criteria we use in determining whom to endorse for election. Party affiliation and issues not directly related to public retirees are not factors we consider.
In addition, each of the legislators listed below are engaged in a competitive primary election. Traditionally, Mass Retirees does not endorse candidates who are running unopposed or those without a competitive race. And while we do work closely with Republican legislators, none are faced with an active primary.

Please remember that while Primary Election Day is Tuesday, September 1, vote-by-mail begins in early August (ballot must be returned by 9/1) and in-person early voting takes place from August 22-28.
